Universal Subscription Agency Pvt. Ltd. (USAPL), established in 1980, was a pioneer in bringing innovative processes in Subscription Industry in India. It has partnered with over 2500 International Publishers, in UK, USA and other parts of the world, having exclusive agency arrangements with select leading international publishers. USAPL focused on providing print content in the subject areas of Sciences, Technology and Medicine supplemented by Humanities and Social Sciences. The company has a broad based clientele of over 2000 leading institutions and individuals, spread all over India and the neighboring countries of Sri Lanka, Burma, Nepal, and Bangladesh. Recognizing the global shift in the environment from print media to electronic media, Global Information System Technology Pvt. Ltd. (GIST) was launched as a subsidiary of USAPL in 1990. Its focus was to provide synergetic strength to the group to develop capability for providing content in a variety of digital media formats.
